Lucidcentral Identification and Diagnostic Tools
Lucidcentral October 2019 Newsletter
New Lucidcentral website home screen

Hi,

October has been a very busy time for the Lucid team! Along with the usual work on Lucid and Fact Sheet Fusion, key packaging projects and consulting we just completed a major update to the Lucidcentral website.

It's been a long time coming. Like a plumber with leaky taps at home, it's been hard to find time to work on it. The new website project turned out to be much more complex than we anticipated, but we hope the end result meets our users' expectations.

The new upgraded site includes:

  • A responsive interface that supports desktop and mobile devices.
  • Unified shopping and product downloads.
  • An upgraded support desk that should be easier to use.
  • Centralized downloads and services in the 'My Account' dashboard.
  • Updated content and news blog.

Our next major project is to upgrade the Lucid key service. The key service delivers several hundred keys to the public and completes hundreds of thousands of requests and over 250GB of data every month.

The public's appetite for identification/diagnostic tools and quality information means the demand for the key service grows day by day. It's great to see our Lucid key authors keep delivering amazing keys and content covering the diversity of nature.

Take a look at some of the latest keys (listed below) that have been released over the past couple of months.

Regards,

The Lucid Team

PS 1. Remember if you have a key hosted on your own website you can still have it listed in the Lucidcentral key service. See the Builder FAQs for more information.

PS 2. If you are software licence holder don't forget to download the latest updates available via your 'My Account' page.
