To convert a Lucid Phoenix key back to a traditional 'paper based' key can be achieve by the following steps:

1. Deploy your Lucid Phoenix key via the key deploy option. This will create a HTML hosting page that contains references to the Lucid Phoenix applet and it will also create a folder of the corresponding name of the key. Within this folder you will see the compiled key data file. It has a file extension of .lpxk.

2. Start a new key in Lucid Phoenix and select import from the key menu.

3. Change the browse file type within import dialog to look for lpxk files instead of txt (text) files.

4. Next, browse and select the lpxk file found in the key folder outlined in step 1.

5. The key import text editor/validator will now display the Lucid Phoenix key as a text based key that can be saved as a text file.

This text file can then be opened by any text editor for further modification if desired.
